CUBA JIB

​CUBA JIB is the most imaginative ski event I’ve ever seen. It began in the late 90s when University of Canterbury students brought snow down from the mountains to create jumps in a campus parking lot. What started as a small student event has evolved into a major spectacle, now sponsored by Red Bull. This year, the event reached new heights, featuring Olympians and Red Bull athletes like Nico Porteous and Cool Wakushima, alongside an electric crowd.

My challenge was to create an engaging recap video that captured the heart of CUBA JIB. From the crazy tricks and vibrant energy to the creativity and student spirit, the video had to reflect everything that makes this event unforgettable. It was all about showcasing rediculous nature and imagination that have kept this tradition alive and thriving.
